Soya Chunks Manchurian


Ingredients :

250 gms -- Soya Chunks
5 tbsp -- Cornflour
½ tsp -- Ginger-Garlic Paste
½ tsp -- Green Chilli Paste
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying



For the sauce :


2 tsp -- Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 tsp -- Green Chilli Paste
2 tsp -- Soya sauce
2 tsp -- Red Chilli Sauce
1 tsp -- Cornflour

1 -- Onion (chopped)
1 Tomato or 1 tsp Tomato Sauce
Few Garlic Flakes Chopped
Chopped Coriander leaves
Oil

Method :



· Boil Water add Soya Chunks.Boil for 10 minutes
· Drain and squeeze out water
· Run fresh water through it.Drain and squeeze
· Grind them until they r coarse and can be rolled into small balls
· Make a batter with cornflour,ginger-garlic paste,green chilli paste , salt and little water.
· Dip each ball of soya chunks in this batter and deep fry in hot oil



For the sauce:



· Heat oil in a kadai .Add chopped onions ,chopped garlic flakes and saute
· Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and fry for 2 mins.
· Add ½ cup water and bring to boil.
· Disslove Cornflour in water to form a paste.Add it to the boiling water
· Add the sauces ( If u r using tomato, grind it , squeeze the extract and add the tomato juice instead of tomato sauce) and salt.Mix well
· Add the fried soya chunks and cook till sauce coats the balls.
· Garnish with corriander leaves and serve hot.
· Goes well with rotis,chappathi
